A travel gateway, built out of frustration

Coastal cliffs at blue hour

I have spent twelve years travelling — sometimes for work, mostly out of curiosity — and the same question kept coming back from friends: where do I even start?

This site is the answer I wish I had. It collects the resources and providers that hold up in practice, the destinations worth the flight, and the small pieces of advice that only come from having got it wrong first.

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” — Maya Angelou
